Gen 3 Glock 23 - I bought a G23 Gen 3 a few months ago and it has become my go-to gun and I have quite a few. I also got a 9mm conversion barrel so I can shoot 40 V&W or 9mm and it's a perfect carry or toy gun. If you are considering the G19, I would consider going with the G23 and a replacement barrel. This gun can be converted to shoot 4 different calibers (Awesome gun that comes in 40 seconds! I highly recommend this gun.
I prefer the grip on the Gen 4 over the Gen 3. It's very secure in the hand. The dimensions of the 23 are portable, but large enough to absorb recoil and provide a long field of view image. I also like the idea of a .357 Sig conversion barrel. You can't beat the Glock in my opinion.

I honestly use Glocks to repel them. They are blocky and bulky weapons that don't fit my hands. I was in the store recently for my wife to want one and she was watching the dealer put the Gen 4 in my hand and it felt like a glove. After a little research, I found that they modeled the Gen 4 after the 1911 grip, which I like on the 1911, but I also like how much I can customize the Glock. So the 23 Gen 4 will probably be the last gun I buy until it breaks.
Glock 19 Gen 3 Stripped Frame
The first Glock I ever owned, it has become my #1 gun. Fast, smooth and reliable. I have owned many different cars from different manufacturers and this is the best I have ever shot. I'm going to do it right with the spring kit and barrel, but out of the box I get consistent 5" groups at 9-12 yards. Thanks.
I bought a Gen 3 a few years ago. I still love the gun to this day. I'd love to get a Gen 4 one day, but I don't feel the need to yet. When I was in law enforcement, I liked it a lot for off-duty carry. Not too bulky and still holds a decent amount of rounds. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to hide.
I like it. I had a G19 gen 5 and my friend asked me to trade. Same size. All my Glock 19 holsters have had no problems. It can also shoot 9mm. I think it looks great!
I tried the Glock 23 and fell in love right away, great gun and feels different. More recoil is to be expected, but it's moderate for the caliber, making it a great gun. This is not my first Glock, I have owned a G17, G19, G23, G30SF and G45, but my G23 feels different.

I love the Glock shop. Lots of video information, great service. I didn't buy my gun here. I am 12 miles from Butts gun store in Lexington, KY. This is my first and only gun. I didn't photograph it until 2 years after I bought it. Shame on me, then I withdraw and go out with my new friend. I changed the spring and it made a huge difference. This Glock 23 is Gen 4. I put an XS large dot sight on it. Now I love that, such a quick goal. It's bam and you're there. I put in a Black List barrel and Johnny Glock trigger. I dry the fire a lot and it shows when I go to the range. There is a book called Navy SEAL Shooting by Chris Sajnok. I learned a lot about how to shoot. Chris Sajnok was a SEAL marksmanship instructor. Money well spent. You can't go wrong with this Glock 23. It does everything a handgun should. Now you have to do your part and learn how to use it. I bought a Glock 31 which is a Sig 357 caliber with one magazine. I bought 2 more Sig 357 mags from the gun dealer but the salesman said the mags were missing so long story short he went out and bought me (2) 40 gauge mags and assured me they would work for 357. Pistol. Then I bought a 40 ACP barrel. So now I had a Sig 357 rifle and a 40 ACP 3 magazine rifle. Then I bought a 9mm barrel changer and (3) 9mm magazines, so from one gun purchase and a few extras I now have 3 different caliber pistols. Glock Rules!!!!!! Next I get the 22LR conversion.
I bought my Glock 23 40 cal from a dealer in Tulsa, Oklahoma about 20 years ago! This gun has never let me down. This is the best gun I have ever had the pleasure of owning. I used it while working at two different police agencies. It's a solid gun and I'm glad I own it!
